Kingsburg Fire Department is partnered with the Fresno City College Fire Academy program. Throughout the year, multiple interns from this program are brought on shift(s) to gain invaluable hands-on experience. This experience also allows interns to learn the daily duties and responsibilities of what it means to be a successful firefighter. Experience includes:

• Fire Suppression
• EMS
• Rescue
• Daily training

This essential program has proven to generate many successful firefighters throughout our region.
