This hands-on course is designed for those with little to no medical experience who need CPR/First Aid training as a condition of employment or simply to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This course is taught by City of Kingsburg Firefighter/Paramedics who actively work in the field and have first-hand emergency medical experience. In this course, you will learn how to do CPR on an adult, child, or infant victim, how to provide basic first aid skills in an emergency, and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
The minimum age for course participation is 16 years of age.
This is NOT a Basic Life Support (BLS) course.
