The Police Department accepts applications on a continuous basis for volunteer positions as Reserve Police Officer, Police Explorer, and Public Safety Volunteer. Contact the Police Department at 559-897-4418 for information about these volunteer programs.

Applications for full-time paid positions are only accepted when there is a position open. At that time, in addition to public advertisement, information for the positions may be posted on this website.

The Police Department will only accept the Department’s Application for Employment (PDF) and requires that a signed original application be presented to the Police Department, preferably in person, or by mail.
